I don't know if I could adequately describe how it was to see Arcade Fire perform live. It was incredible, to say the least. I heard every song I wanted to hear, which is surprising. I don't think I've ever gone to a show where I heard everything I loved, but I guess I love a lot of their songs. I realized in the middle of the show that I'd actually purchase their first album, Funeral at Tower Records in Chicago as a sophomore in high school. I was back in the same city to see them play live. It was very cool. Everyone was dancing and having a good time. I liked watching other people freak out when their song came on. I love going to shows where people genuinely are enjoying themselves and the band puts on a hell of a show.
Today, my girl, Laura gets married. Yesterday, we all went for manicures and pedicures, which was really fun. We'll go to the hair salon in the morning, and the nuptials are in the evening. Laura is the first of my close friends to get married and it's so crazy to me! It's going to be very emotional, yet exciting. I can't wait for the reception since we all had a hand in the playlist. Oh, Laura, all grown up. I can't believe we've known each other for thirteen years! And I finally, finally have an updated photo of us :)
