Yesterday morning, I woke up around 6:30. I could hear the rumbles of thunder and eventually, the pinging of raindrops on the roof. Slowly, at first, and then a downpour. It was wonderful and lulled me back to sleep. I woke up to a note from Jessi and her mom (they left for Vermont at 4am) and took my time drinking my coffee. After clicking around on the internet for a few hours, I did laundry, took out the garbage and recycling, and cleaned the kitchen. In the evening, I was planted on the futon, watching Dexter Season 3. For a day in the house, it was actually pretty wonderful. Normally, I'm itching to get out, but for some reason, I was content with only having the cats and myself around. It wasn't depressing; it was great fun! Hopefully, this just means that things are looking up for me and my sad-sap ways. I've got to keep up this good attitude and like Jess said, it's all about choices. Since I was home, I shot around the house. Enjoy my comforts of home:

ReplyDeleteI love being at home when it rains/during storms. It gives me time to reflect and during that reflection, I'm able to figure out a solution to whatever's troubling me or just .. rest, since I hardly get the time to do that.
ReplyDeleteI hope things get better for you! (:
