photo an hour: where does time go?

I knew I had an early day today. I decided I was going to try to do a photo an hour throughout the day. Suddenly, it was 3 o'clock and I hadn't snapped a single photo. Oops. I managed a some for the past few hours that I like. I haven't been picking up my camera much lately. I've been going ~yoga every damn day~ and also battling a case of seasonal blues. Lack of sunlight does me no good. On the bright side, my birthday is Monday and I gifted myself a new printer. My fall zine could be a physical copy, guys! (purchase the first volume here to receive the second free) I find that super exciting, albeit a little daunting. Okay, enough rambling. Here are the photographs:

the only one

i think this post title and the last one were black keys related. i can't help it- I LOVE THE BLACK KEYS! also, since it's valentine's day, i feel like using this song as a title is appropriate. yesterday, in the hours i was conscious, i did a picture an hour. now, once again, this isn't something that i came up with. i 100% credit the clothes horse for this idea. i just thought it was a great way for me, as a photographer, to take snapshots of my day.

now, i have been sick. actually, i still am sick and am very weak. i spent the majority of yesterday in bed after i took alex home so he could study. i did manage some photos in my moments of consciousness. so here we go:

my "real" present didn't arrive in time so my boyfriend got me my fave truffles :)



this is what the side of my bed looks like: big bag of ricola, vicks, lots of tissue, and a heating pad.











i finally got alex to give me a genuine smile, but it's only because he twisted his mustache up, like a creeper.

a picture an hour

i thought i would take the time today to post my picture an hour project. my very first of what i hope is many to come. i got the idea perusing the clothes horse fashion blog. i love the photos she takes of her outfits, but i also saw a tag for a picture an hour. i thought i would explore that a little bit. i thought it was a great idea.
